I’m Belem, a retired 2000s club baddie turned pole-obsessed devotee ✨ and I’m so excited to dance with you.

I started pole in 2023 in Wonderland after realizing something important… I didn’t lose my sparkle, I had just forgotten how to let it move. Life and grief dimmed my freestyle flow for a while, but pole reminded me that fluidity lives in the body—you just have to spin it back to life. Literally.

What started as curiosity quickly turned into a full love affair with strength, empowerment, health, and unapologetic movement. Pole helped me reconnect with myself and chase that feeling we all know when it shows up… that “ohhhh there she is.” 😉

In 2026, I’m so excited to help lead our ESPAÑ-POLE series here at Wonderland—creating a space where our Spanish-speaking babes can learn pole comfortably in Spanish while also picking up English pole vocabulary along the way. My dream is that every Spanish-speaking student who walks through our doors feels seen, welcomed, and able to dance without language getting in the way of joy.
