"Wonderland has been life changing for me. It came into my life when I needed a big positive mental and physical change after losing both my parents and I was not taking proper care of my body. It’s the only form of exercise that I never get bored of, and has inspired me to work on cross training and proper nutrition to reach bigger goals. I’m really enjoying trying new things, whether it’s choreo classes, chair dance, or other apparatuses. Being able to do things I never thought I was capable of has built my self confidence and shut down my inner critic. If I have a bad day at pole I don’t get down on myself and I can laugh when I struggle with a choreo. These things would have fueled my inner negative voice just a year and a half ago. I love the community and all the people I’ve met at the studio. It’s hard to make friends as an adult and having this common ground gives us all an easy conversation starter."
